Who this notice is from

This website and the online consultation practice are run by Dr Anjana Alekhya, MD (Paediatrics), a registered medical practitioner registered with the Telangana State Medical Council (Reg. No. TSMC/FMR/31029). She is responsible for the personal data you share.

What is collected

When you request a consultation, the booking form asks for your name and your relationship to the child, your city and state, your child's name, age and weight, the concern and how long it has been going on, symptoms, anything already tried, any known allergies, your preferred slot, and whether this is a first consultation or a follow-up. You then pay by UPI and send a payment screenshot on WhatsApp, where your phone number is visible. During the consultation you may share medical reports, photos or other health information.

How it is used

Your details are used only to respond to your request, confirm your identity as the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines require, provide the consultation, verify your payment, and keep consultation records as required by law. This website does not store your details: the booking form opens a WhatsApp chat with your message pre-filled, and nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp.

Who it is shared with

No one else, except where the law requires it. Your details are never sold and never used for advertising.

How long it is kept

Consultation records are kept for as long as applicable medical-record and telemedicine rules require. WhatsApp messages remain in the chat between you and Dr Anjana.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask for a summary of your personal data, ask for it to be corrected or erased, withdraw consent, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance. For a child patient, a parent or legal guardian exercises these rights on the child's behalf. To use any of these rights, message Dr Anjana on the same WhatsApp number you used to book. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
